Zury is a 9-year-old female Boxer/Bulldog mix who went missing from the 1000 block of Grandview St in Parkersburg, WV on the morning of March 26, 2026. She was in the temporary care of a family member at her primary residence when she disappeared.
Zury is friendly but tends not to approach strangers on her own. She was ultimately recovered via a humane box trap after 18 days, a reminder that patience and passive recovery methods are often the most effective tools for dogs who will not come to people directly.

Zury has been recovered safely. At approximately 8:03 PM on April 13, 2026, Zury entered a humane box trap and was captured without incident after 18 days, 13 hours, and 33 minutes missing. She had not been sighted for several days prior, raising concern, but tonight the trap held. Zury is now reunited with her owner and will be evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. This case is closed. Thank you to everyone in the Parkersburg community who shared, watched, and reported tips along the way.

Zury remains missing at over 6 days. No confirmed sightings since the initial neighbor report near the 600 block of Grandview St. The case remains fully active. PSA Mid-Ohio Valley and MOV Drone Workz conducted a thermal drone search of the last known area. Thermal conditions were strong following 48 hours of heavy rain and cold temperatures, with clear returns on small animals throughout the search area. No confirmed sighting of Zury was obtained. Search efforts are ongoing. Community tips encouraged.
