Missing Dog in Parkersburg, WV: Rambo the Beagle Still Missing Since February 13

Rambo is a 1-year-old black and tan Beagle who has been missing since February 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM from the 2400 block of Neal Street in Parkersburg, WV.

Rambo is neutered, not microchipped, and was not wearing a collar when he went missing. He is described as very friendly and does not know a stranger. However, after several days loose, even friendly dogs can shift into survival mode and may avoid people.

Timeline and Current Status

Rambo disappeared from a heavily residential area in Parkersburg. Given the number of homes and traffic in that area, it is concerning that no confirmed sightings were reported in the first several days.

On February 16, a possible sighting was reported near the Hino area in Mineral Wells. A witness stated she was positive it was Rambo and observed him running toward a wooded area near Route 77. A feed station was placed overnight in that area, but no activity was captured.

As of February 17 at 1:00 PM, there have been no confirmed additional sightings.

What This Means

It is possible Rambo is still moving and has not anchored to a single location. Dogs in this phase may travel along tree lines, creek beds, wooded edges, and low-traffic corridors. He may also seek shelter under decks, in outbuildings, or near barns.

Community awareness is critical at this stage.

Areas of Focus
